Sessions are usually 55 to 60 minutes long. After the initial intake session we determine frequency of follow up appointments and generally I recommend that we start with weekly 55-60 minute sessions so that we can build rapport and gain momentum in our work together. After some time we may decide to meet once or twice a month depending on your circumstances. I will make recommendations about the type of counseling and therapeutic interventions based on your concerns and therapy goals.
There are many approaches to counseling and together we will create a plan that best suits your needs. We will discuss your progress throughout our sessions.
Please note that I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Not showing for appointments or late cancellations may result in loss of eligibility of services or payment for the missed appointment.

If you have one of the following insurance plans, services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance benefit plan: OHP, Jackson Care Connect, First Choice Health or Pacific Source. Check your coverage carefully by calling your insurance provider.
Please be ready to pay your copay at the time of your session with a check or cash payment and bring your insurance card to your first appointment. For Tele-Mental Health sessions, payments can be done electronically.
Be aware that if you have a deductible that has not been met you will be required to cover the cost of the sessions in full until you meet your deductible. If you are not covered by insurance we can discuss self pay.
